She attended medical school at Rush University where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She remained at Rush University Medical Center for her Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship. She is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her interests include glomerulonephritis, chronic kidney disease, and the medical management of kidney stones including the prevention of new stone formation.
