Join NANI for the 2022 Walk for Kidneys
As we do every year, NANI will sponsor the Walk for Kidneys in Chicago. On June 12th, over 4,000 people will gather at Lincoln Harbor-Diversey Event Space, in support of those who have kidney disease or have received a kidney transplant. Those who attend are patients, family, friends and supporters of anyone who has struggled with Kidney Disease. About 136 million people in the US are expected to develop chronic kidney disease in their lifetime and the numbers will grow as diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity increase. The Illinois chapter of the National Kidney Foundation holds the Walk for Kidneys each summer as a way of raising awareness, support and funds for those affected. The positive energy at this event is contagious! Plan to join the fun by walking with us along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront.

Walk for Kidneys is a free 5K (3.1 Mile) family friendly walk and health fair featuring entertainment, refreshments and a chance to walk along Chicago’s beautiful Lake Michigan with thousands of other passionate, motivated individuals seeking to further the mission of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.
